One day tour from Eilat to Petra (07:30 – 19:00)

Description of the tour and schedules

07:30 - Collect from the hotels and ride to the Arava's passage border

08:00 - Cross the border – the Israeli's side and the Jordanian’s as well

09:30 - By the end of the borders procedure a ride to Petra by Jordanian’s vehicle

11:30 - Arrive to Petra; visit the site for as 3 hours

14:30 - Lunch at a local restaurant

15:30 - Ride back from Petra to the border passage

17:30 - Arrive to the border

18:30 - Disperse back to the hotels

 

The price includes:

1.) A transportation from the hotels to the borders and back.

2.) A joined Jordanian tour guide, English speaker, at the Jordan's side.

3.) A ride in Jordanian tourist’s bus in the Desert Way, King Way to Petra – as two hours ride with stop for a look-out

4.) Enter and visit the old city of Petra via the sik to pharow hazna. Visit the roman theatre, the cardo and the artificial graves. (Of course it's depends on the rhythm of the group)

5.) Late lunch at hotel/restaurant in Vadi Mussa.

6.) A ride back to Eilat and a short tour in Aqaba if it will be a spare time.

7.) A transportation from the border to the hotels

 

Tour description                                  1-15

 

 

1. A walk from the main entrance to the the Siq (the Treasury) –walk - 200 meter

1. Obelisk – entrance to the Siq (the Treasury) – walk – 300 meter

2. Continue by walk to point 4 –as 1300 meter

3. Hazna Pharow – point 7 - walk to the theatre – 500 meter

4. Walk to point 5 and 8 will be done by good shape walkers only

5. From the theatre point 7 to the museum point 15 – 800 meter

6. From here back to point 1 by walk

Not includes:

1). Health insurance

2). Donkeys, horses, carriages in Petra site (option to different parts with another payment).

3). Israel and Jordan borders taxes (47.50$ for 1 tourist)
